Confession: we’re girl crushing on actress Kiersey Clemons. The 21-year-old fresh-faced beauty recently caught our attention as the not so cool tomboy in the hit movie Dope, about a group of high school misfits trying to fit in LA. In the film, she plays “Diggy”, a chill, devoted friend to Malcolm (played by Shameik Moore) and Jib (Tony Revolori), who along with her crew are considered “geeks” in their Inglewood, CA high school. After a chance invitation to an underground party, the group set off on a raucous and hilarious adventure in the streets of Los Angeles.

However, Kiersey is no stranger to Hollywood. If you’re under 20, chances are you definitely remember her as Danielle on Disney’s Shake It Up (co starring fellow Disney turned grown up stars Zendaya and Bella Thorne) or Kira Starr on the channel’s other hit show Austin & Alley. She even co-starred with Victoria Justice in the new MTV series Eye Candy. Keeping with her busy schedule, the L.A. native is currently a recurring cast member on the acclaimed Amazon original series Transparent and CBS’s Extant with Halle Berry.

Aside from her posh acting resume, Kiersey is a burgeoning style star. Per her Instagram, we’ve peeped her flair for sparkly frocks, grungy baby doll dresses, perfectly coiffed hair, and minimal makeup. But it’s her skin and pillow soft curls that leave us gagging. She revealed to Allure that she lives by “skin serums and facial oils from Bobbi Brown” and moisturizes with Keihl’s Ultra Facial Cream. For her curly mane, Clemons says she swears by the LOC system, a method of moisturizing natural curly hair with a leave in conditioner, followed by an oil, and then cream.

With a charming personality, flawless skin, and a dope sense of style (not to mention work ethic), we have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of Clemons in the future.
